Only fifteen of the Gull bookstands were originally produced before the Second World War halted production in 1939 due to shortages in plywood. Designed as the smaller sibling to Egon Riss’s Penguin Donkey the Gull is sculptural in design, and as its name suggests, it has a profile reminiscent of a bird. The Gull was successfully bought back into production in 2020.

カモメのブックスタンドは、第二次世界大戦によりプライウッド不足のため 1939 年に生産が中止されるまで、最初に 15 個のみ生産されました。 エゴン・リスのペンギンドンキーの小さな兄弟としてデザインされたカモメは、彫刻的なデザインで、その名前が示すように、鳥を思わせる横顔をしています。 Gull は 2020 年に再販されました。
